WHY DO YOU HAVE THE SAME FORMULAS BY DIFFERENT MANUFACTURERS?

There are several reasons for offering a variety of the same formula. The main differences are potency and preparation (capsules, tablets, liquids, etc).

Herbal manufacturers often Produce Modified versions of classical formulas which may vary slightly in formula composition and concentration, thus resulting in dosing and cost variances.

While some formulas are stronger than others, this does not mean you should take the strongest form for superior results.

Every person and their conditions are different and unless you a refilling a formula previously prescribed by one of our practitioners, or from an outside source, you should seek advice on what potency is best for you.

There is also a vast selection of the same formulas in the case your typical choice is out of stock, we have substitutions available (typically of the same potency) to offer. We will always recommend the closest choice to your original order free of charge.

WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR A HERBAL CONSULTATION OR GO SEE A LOCAL PRACTITIONER?

Herbal Medicine is the holistic art and science of using plant based medicines to balance and restore health. Chinese Medicine is unlike western or allopathic medicine most Americans are use to.

However, it has persisted as the world's primary form of health care for more than 5,000 years and the use of traditional herbs is increasingly becoming recognized for its effectiveness in restoring function and harmony to the mind and body here in the western world.

The long practiced clinical skill of matching plants to people focuses on individualized care and appropriate selection of herbal formulas that are specific to a client's needs at that particular moment.

The certified clinical herbalist applies skill in observing patterns of disharmony and matches the appropriate herbs to "nudge" the body back to a state of balance.

They assess western medical disease patterns in the context of deeper constitutional elements and work to discover the root of a particular disharmony or pathology.

After a thorough evaluation, the herbalist may offer dietary, lifestyle, and herbal formulations to support your health goals and particular energetic needs.

Since Chinese Medicine does not treat conditions, and instead looks for imbalances in the person and treats those imbalances, it is extremely difficult for someone not licensed or thoroughly trained in Chinese medicine to determine what formula is best for them.

Once this is determined, correct formula and dosage is another factor that must be accurate in order for the herbs to work, and for your body to begin to rebalance itself.

We do not encourage anyone to attempt to do any of the above mentioned on their own or without professional assistance because at best, it may result in wasting money on formulas that don't work.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

United States:

Our Shipping charge is a flat rate of $5 unless your order exceeds $60, then we will pay all of the shipping for your order (applies to all products with no exception.

Our aim is to have your package ready and shipped out to you within 24 hours (during business days) of having received your order but it might happen there is slight delay.

If for whatever reason we cannot get your order out within three business days we will email you with the reason and with an estimated delivery date.

Of course you will always have the option to cancel the order all together for a full refund.

In general most shipments normally arrive within 3 to 5 business days of placing your order.

International Shipping:

International shipping does not qualify for the free shipping discount. All international shipping is managed through a 3rd party who also handles custom fees and package tracking. All related fees are shown on our checkout page when placing an order.

IMPORTANT: Tracking of shipments can only be guaranteed within the United States. As such, we cannot take any responsibility for lost orders outside the United States.

International shipments normally arrive within 6 to 10 business days of placing your order. Again, this can vary from country to country.

Backorders:

It may happen that an order available online is actually temporarily out of stock due to the seasonality of some herbs and FDA/customs regulations.

We will notify you immediately in such case that the items you have ordered in question have been placed on backorder by the manufacturer.

You of course can always let us know that you prefer to cancel the backordered items and we will refund you the original purchase amount.

Manufacturer Out of Stock:

We do our best to keep all of our inventory current but sometimes items we are expecting have become manufacturer out of stock and no longer available to us.

We will naturally update our website accordingly but in the case you have actually ordered an item no longer available we will notify you immediately and automatically process a full refund.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

We are happy to accept returns providing the items are still sealed and in condition to be resold, and within 30 days of purchase.

IMPORTANT: You have to contact us through before returning your package and we will email you a return authorization form with instructions. Make sure to include the original invoice number.

If you received free shipping on the initial order, $5 will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.

If you would like to return an item and it has been greater than 30 days since the purchase, send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

We do stock several lines not listed here for various reasons. If there is something you're looking for but do not see, contact us us through our support page with the details and we will let you know whether we have it or can special order it for you.

Please be as specific as possible. Some special order items can only be sold with a valid prescription from a licensed health care provider.

The manufactures listed on this site guarantee all products are free of contaminants and actually contain the ingredients listed and nothing more.

If you have decided to treat yourself using the Internet, books, or any other source aside from seeing professional advice, there is no guarantee the herbs will be safe for you and your condition specifically.

ARE THE STATEMENTS ON THIS SITE OR PRODUCTS SOLD ON THIS SITE APPROVED BY THE FDA?
